Permanent capital for enduring businesses.

Camino Schaper builds, acquires, and provides capital to businesses and real assets across Peru and the Americas — with an owner's mindset, not a fund's timeline.

AN OWNER'S PERSPECTIVE
01 — The Firm

An Owner's Perspective

Camino Schaper was established to build, acquire, and steward businesses with a permanent-capital mindset — capital that behaves like ownership, not like a position to be exited on a fund's clock.

We are privately held and principal-funded, which means we can move at the speed of a decision rather than a committee, and hold for as long as a business deserves to be held. Our work today centers on Peru and the wider Americas, in precious metals, consumer brands, and the operating businesses behind them.

02 — How We Invest

We invest across three modes

01

Build

We create businesses from the ground up, from brand and product through to operations, when we see a category worth building in.

02

Acquire

We purchase or take working stakes in operating companies run by capable founders and teams, and stay close to the business afterward.

03

Provide Capital

We structure capital — equity, debt, or a blend — for compelling opportunities that don't require us to run the business day to day.

05 — Principles

What guides how we invest

Discipline

Underwriting decisions on fundamentals, not sentiment.

Alignment

Structures where our interests move with our partners', not against them.

Permanence

Holding through cycles, not toward a predetermined exit.

Independent Thinking

Conviction earned through our own diligence, not consensus.
